Position Summary:

Reporting to the President, and as a part of a collaborative team, the Maintenance Coordinator has overall responsibility and accountability for a variety of tasks related to maintaining and improving company assets including infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, tools, etc. Responsibilities include implementing preventative maintenance, liaising with service providers, performing regular inspections, and scheduling maintenance team to perform required duties (mechanics, electricians, carpenters, etc)

 

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan for all required company equipment including but not limited too;

o Compressors

o Saw

o Press Brake

o Plasma Table

o Overhead Doors

o Shop Air System

o Welders and Welding Equipment

o Line Boring Equipment

o Sandblasting Equipment

· Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan for all required company vehicles and heavy equipment including but not limited too;

o Light Vehicles

o Passenger Vans

o Aerial Work Platforms (Scissor Lift, JLG)

o Tractors and Trailers

o Loaders

o Forklifts

· Create work orders for scheduled maintenance and track hours as per work order

· Schedule maintenance team as required to perform identified work (Electricians, Carpenters, Mechanics, etc) and ensure work has been completed and documented

· Liaise with suppliers for service and parts quotes and provide purchase orders as required. Track ordered items as required.

· Liaise with service providers to schedule routine maintenance as required

· Maintain vehicle insurance and registration documentation

· Review, monitor and control processes and procedures for Maintenance Plans

· Consistently monitor all processes and procedures for continuous improvement opportunities

· Monitor and ensure proper completion of all asset pre use inspections including documentation and timely response to any indicated issues/concerns

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Previous experience in an industrial setting required

· Proficiency in computer and office equipment use

· Valid drivers license

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent listening and understanding skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Attention to detail is essential

· Must be autonomous and have strong initiative skills

· Must have a team spirit to accomplish final goals and work cooperatively with others

· Must follow, respect and apply all health & safety procedures and guidelines and to keep up-to-date in safety procedures.
