Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Location: Labrador City, NL

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $26.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent’s responsibilities include the following duties:

• Repair equipment;
• Adjust machinery and repair and replace defective parts;
• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations;
• Follow and ensure the Health and Safety processes are followed daily;
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor;
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness of the maintenance shop;
• Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects;
• Troubleshoot and repair problems on machines and equipment;
• Work closely with the Supervisor to complete preventative and predictive maintenance;
• Keeps updated records of work performed;
• Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives;
• Maintain, store, inspect and distribute tools and equipment to the organization;
• Maintain database inventory of all available, in use and being maintained tools;
• Clean, sharpen, calibrate and properly store all tools and equipment;
• Perform inventory counts;
• Receive freight
• Perform other related tasks as required.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma 
• Previous experience in a similar role;
• 2 years of experience in an industrial environment would be an asset;
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) an asset:
• Intermediate computer skills;
• May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.

• 8-hour shift
