Carol Lake Hydraulics and Machining (A division of Carol Lake Metal Works Limited) is looking to add a Hose Room Attendant / Parker Specialist to their team. The Hose Room Attendant / Parker Specialist is the primary contact for our customers looking for hose and fitting solutions. The Hose Room Attendant / Parker Specialist is responsible for identifying the customer’s hose requirements using the Parker ‘STAMP’ method and selecting the proper Parker hoses and fittings to complete the hose assembly. The Hose Room Attendant / Parker Specialist is also responsible for assembling hoses for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area (6S).

·        Complete a Take5 hazard assessment for each job assigned.

·        Participate in the CLMW Safety program as required.

·        Complete safety objective assignment daily as required.

·        Adhere to posted work schedule.

·        First line of contact for our customers looking for Parker hose and fitting solutions.

·        Identify and select proper Parker hose and Fitting using STAMP method.

·        Cut, Clean & Crimp hose assemblies.

·        Enter information in Parker Tracking System.

·        Properly cap, seal and deliver hose to the customer.

·        Count and control inventory min max as per CLHM Procedure.

·        Review and complete weekly stock orders.

·        Open and enter orders in our system.

·        Ensure accurate paperwork is completed for each order.

·        Assist in daily toolbox and job planning meeting.

·        Assist Manager in review and development standard operation procedure.

·        Follow company established standard operation procedures.

·        Follow CLMW Safety guidelines and policy.

·        Perform other tasks required.

Requirements:

·        Combination of over 2 years of work experience in the trade and high school, college or industry courses in heavy equipment repair would be an asset.

·        Understanding of hydraulic hoses standards.

·        Valid driver’s license.

·        Attention to detail.

·        Conscientious of quality control for finished products.

·        Excellent team spirit to accomplish final goals and work cooperatively with others.

·        Autonomous and have strong initiative skills.

·        Flexible to work on various products and tasks.

·        Flexible to work overtime on a need basis.
